We took Dec out of state for the first time to Arizona for my step-brother Tanner's wedding this weekend. It was a much needed mini-vacation. Grandparents, a pool, and a drink is the perfect recipe for some R & R! It was a great long weekend - we celebrated Dec's 3 month birthday by putting him in the pool for the first time (which he loved), attended a beautiful wedding, and got some belly laughs from the little guy (see video below). He seemed to know we were on a little vacation. Nothing but smiles and laughs from him the whole weekend!

12 weeks yesterday - WOW! Each day flies by. He is sleeping great - usually about 10 hours a night. He is always finding new ways to express himself - every once in a while we get a belly laugh and sometimes a tantrum (both crack me up). His fist is constantly in his mouth - he seems to be fervently trying to jam the entire thing in. We are also seeing quite a bit of drooling and lots of cooing.
Below are some baby pictures of me and Adam. It is still obvious he is Daddy's boy, although I am finally starting to see traces of me!

We had a randomly great day yesterday - first we met the McHenry girls for a play date and in the evening we went to the beach for a picnic dinner.

Even though it is a little early, we set up Dec's Jumperoo. With the help of a pillow underneath (so his feet touch the ground) and a blanket stuffed in his seat, he is enjoying his new toy. He especially loves the Toucan and Banana hanging from the top.

Yesterday we took advantage of a shower gift from Anna and Stacey and went to a Mommy & Me Yoga Class. They know me so well! It was awesome - about 10 moms and their babies doing yoga. Too fun! The majority of the class was little boy babies. Dec loved watching the older babies that were crawling and I loved getting some good stretches in! We are looking forward to next week. Oh, and I thought it was interesting that 2 of the boys' names were Jack, a name we considered for Dec. I'm glad we went with Declan or we would have been Jack #3!
